More role debuts: Christoph Filler and Christoph Seidl to debut in Lortzing’s “Der Wildschütz” at the Gärtnerplatztheater – from Jan. 23rd

In their permanent positions at the Gärtnerplatztheater Munich, baritone Christoph Filler und bass Christoph Seidl both have grasped, with both hands, the opportunity to demonstrate their proven versatility while at the same time extending their repertoires:

Christoph Filler began his season with a successful Danilo in Lehár’s “Lustige Witwe”, was then invited to sing Falke (“Die Fledermaus”) at the Staatstheater Darmstadt, and will play the part of Count von Eberbach in Lortzing’s “Der Wildschütz” (shows: Jan. 23rd and 30th, Feb. 2st, Apr. 4th).

Friends of the Gärtnerplatztheater have already heard Christoph Seidl this past fall, singing the part of Alidoro in Rossini’s “La Cenerentola”; he then toured China with the Young Singers Project of the Salzburg Festival , and on Jan. 23rd, he will be back on stage in Munich with his role debut as Baculus in “Der Wildschütz” by Lortzing.
